他們會不會收了我的錢,把我騙上船,然後賣我豬仔?|Seemed he said someone would pick me up there, but now I was left alone on a boat to a place I had only heard of it from yesterday and I had no idea what or where it was!
Laguna
Laguna!

I paid for a tour to go by myself?
Early next morning, the guide walked me to the pier for the boat to an Amazon village called Lagunas. He set up my hammock on the boat and bought the ticket (20 soles, not included in the tour) for me. After everything was set, he was leaving when the boat was about to depart. I thought he’d accompany me all the way to Lagunas but seemed not. I didn’t really feel alright as I had paid the total already. But due to my poor Spanish and he’s hurry to leave cause the boat was departing, seemed he said someone would pick me up there. Anyway, I was left alone on a boat to a place I had only heard of it from yesterday and I had no idea what or where it was! I didn’t even know the place was really called Laguna. It just means “lagoon” in Spanish after all.
Anyway, the boat had departed and I was there by myself for another 12 hours. I thought it’s going to be boring but ended up I enjoyed it quite a lot. It was easy to spend this 12 hours on my book, music, and most of all, the nice, calm and charming amazon scenery.
Its completely dark when it arrived Laguna. It’s a bit chaotic after the boat had moored. People was running up and down. Many were trying to alight while some boarded to pick up goods. While I was wondering how I could find that unknown person in an unknown place in the dark and was worrying if there’s really someone here to pick me up, a man ran to me and said something. I didn’t get what he said and all I could say was “Que?”, he then just grabbed my big backpack and signalled me to follow him.
He was a tuk tuk driver sent by the guide’s wife and she’s been waiting for me in the pier. After meeting up with her, we took this tub tuk to her home for one night before I began my 4D3N tour the next day.
The simple life in amazon
Her home was a very basic wooden house. It was so basic that the floor wasn’t even paved. Everything was put on the sandy ground. And in the same room, you could find the stove and the bed were just next to each other. There’s one TV and one radio in the house but electricity was only available for 6 hours a day and of course there’s no internet. After a simple meal, the guide’s wife showed me to the “bathroom” which was in fact the open space outside of the house (!). She lifted a bucket of water from the well and told me to take my shower there. Then she returned to the house and closed the door behind her.
Well, it’s in the amazon, if everybody there take shower like this, why I should be excepted? Anyway, it’s dark and there’s no moonlight, if someone’s going to see me naked, it’d only be my sexy dark shadow. So I took off my clothes and took a very refreshing shower which I really needed (and I would miss it so much during my 4 days tour) as it’s freaking humid and I got enough of mosquito bites.
While I thought this place was simple and basic enough, it’s just that I hadn’t been to the wild jungle yet.
