這裡養的三貓四狗，都是老闆娘 Nara 從街邊檢來的，又或是人家棄養在她門口的，最多時，有超過十隻狗在此。不過時間、心力、金錢始終有限，能得 Nara 收留的，都要經過一輪嚴格篩選：只有醜的，病的，老的，弱的才能留低。

All the 3 cats and 4 dogs here are from the street or abandoned by others. With limited resources, the shop owner Nara can only keep those sick, weak or old here.

一頭像獅子的貓，叫 Puma，全屋以他為最大。看他跑跳玩樂，一齊如常，卻原來有個腦瘤，早陣子連樓梯也上不到。

Puma the cat, king of the house. He’s already 15yo and he seems to have a happy life, jumping up and down around. The sad truth is he has a brain tumor. He couldn’t even walk up the stair awhile ago.

Nika，從貧民窟帶回來，一睇個樣就知佢傻。曾聽人說，近親繁殖的狗隻，好多時眼珠會不同色。而從她的日常舉動和相信來自近親繁殖的關係，我相信她是弱智的。

Nika was from a slum and believed to be from inbreeding due to her different eye colours. She’s a bit lame and her reaction is kinda strange, seems to have some mental problem.

Missão，在街上檢回來時，滿身皮膚病，還又聾又單眼。弱質纖纖的他最温純, 但就連在這裡時也少不免給其他狗欺負。這裡數他最可憐。

Missão is deaf and half blind and was full of skin disease when Nara found him. He is the weakest yet the most gentle dog here. Unfortunately, he’s still bullied by other dogs sometimes.

南美這邊有很多流浪貓狗，強壯的可以自己打天下，照顧自己；得意趣緻的容易討人歡心，得人收養。剩下那些老的、弱的、病的，若沒有像Nara 這些善心人，留在街上的日子恐怕不太好過吧。 就這樣想著想著，忽然之間好像明白了一件事: 嗯，為什麼老闆娘會收留我們呢?

There are way too many street dogs and cats in S.Am. For those who are strong, they can fight and survive better. For those who are cute, the chance to get adopted is higher. But for those who are sick, weak or old, they would have suffered a lot living on street if there’s no people like Nara to take care of them.
